Another Iowa river boat gambling den, The Isle of Capri, is open all hours, with 24,939 sq.ft., 1,100 slots, and 24 table games. The Mississippi Belle II, a 10,577 square foot river based casino in Clinton, has 506 slot machines, 14 table games, live entertainment, and Thursday blackjack events.

Iowa casinos offer an exceptional deal of tax revenue to the state government of Iowa, which has allowed the funding of many state wide projects. Tourism has increased at a rapid rate along with the requirement for services and an increase in employment. Iowa gambling halls have been instrumental to the expansion of the market, and the affection for gambling in Iowa is across the board.
