I have been gaming on the net or at land based gambling halls for a good many years. I have found out, the addiction is able to acquire a hold of you and you won’t even realize it up till you are broke. Specifically if you are on a run. I have been through many hundreds of dollars in a very short period of time and even today, I still go too far. It seems you are just enjoying yourself up till you decide to track your loss and the blame settles in, and then you continue advising yourself "I can likely win the money back" ad infinitum. It doesn’t work. Then you feel sick to your gut and the more you attempt the more rapidly you lose.
When you observe that you are up, STAY Ahead! When you begin to lose, do not tell yourself, "well just one more" and again and again, believe in me, this tactic RARELY ever functions. Say you plan on playing on one armed bandits, have a number set aside before beginning your action. DON’T exceed that threshold, no matter how tempting. If you happen to earn, put that in an alternate canister. Do not spend your earnings regardless of what happens. Once you have gambled through your beginning predetermined cutoff, stop. Back off, regardless if it’s on the net or at a land based gambling den, don’t stick at the tables or machines. At all times remember, there will be another day, another time. Obviously, this scheme can work for any game that you gamble on, be it bingo, poker, video poker, keno, vingt-et-un or any other casino game.
Keep in mind, gambling is supposed to be FUN not exhausting, nauseating work! If you are not enjoying yourself, you do not belong at the casinos. If you cannot pay for the loss, don’t ever begin.
