If you like to have a cocktail every once in a while, keep your money at home if you set out to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Clean out your pocketbook, your billfold, and leave all money, charge cards and checks out of the casino. Grab only the money you anticipate to use on beverages, tips and whatever pocket change you expect to burn and keep the remainder behind.
Pessimistic? Not at all. Just realistic. You might experience a success following a inebriated night out with your buddies and be blessed sufficiently to catch a long roll at a smokin craps game. Keep that story because it is as short-lived as it gets if you consistently drink alcohol and bet. The two just do not go well together.
Leaving your money out of the casino might be a tiny bit drastic, but defensive measures for dramatic actions is a requirement. If you gamble to win, then don’t drink and play. If you are able to afford to toss away your cash nary a concern, then drink all the complimentary beer you are able to handle, but don’t carry plastic credit and chequebooks to throw into the mix of following losses after your bombed self throws away all the cash!
Allow me to carry this one step more. do not drink and then head on the web to bet in your favorite casino either. I love to cocktail from the coziness of my home, but considering that I’m hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep plastic credit at my fingertips, I can not drink alcohol and gamble.
Why? Despite the fact that I don’t drink to excess, when I consume alcohol, it’s absolutely sufficient to befuddle my common sense. I wager, so I don’t consume alcohol when betting. If you are a drinker, don’t gamble when you do. When mixed, both create a ferocious, and costly, drink.
